As the chef for The Hush Cuban Kitchen in Clayton Georgia, Alberto Rodríguez is responsible for overseeing all culinary operations. He has crafted a special menu to ensure quality and a great experience. Prior to the Hush, our chef served as a chef for Highlands Country Club where he was the executive sous chef creating casual and upscale cuisine.
Specializing in upscale dining, Rodríguez has worked for major hospitality venues including the Hard Rock Cafe in Hollywood and Seminole Casino in Coconut Creek where he created daily specials and menus for special events. During his time as a Chef de Cuisine, NYY STEAKHOUSE was named Best North Broward Restaurant by South Florida.com’s Best of South Florida.
Rodríguez also has worked in Puerto Rico, Nevis, and St Croix in positions from supervisor to executive chef at venues such as the Copa Marina Beach Resort, La Cava & Aqua Pazza Ristorante, The Hilton Ponce Golf & Casino Resort, The Mount Nevis Hotel and the Renaissance St Croix Carambola Beach Resort & Spa.
Upon moving to the United States in 2011, he also served as chef de cuisine at the magnificent Fontainebleau Miami Beach. As the Chef of the Hush, Rodriguez has made it his mission to ensure a high level of satisfaction among all guests by offering a limited but precise menu in his scratch kitchen.
